Spanish Students Visit

During the week of 19th - 23rd June, we were excited to host a group of 35 Spanish year 10-12 students and their accompanying 4 teachers.

All students were accompanied around school by students across years 8-10 and the Spanish students had the opportunity to attend a number of lessons across the curriculum.

On Tuesday, all joined together with a number of other schools in Norfolk (hosting other groups) to attend the disco held at The Talk in Oak Street. It was a great opportunity for all to learn about similarities and differences in our lives.

4 Day Trip to Seville, Spain, July 2018

4 Day Trip to Seville, Andalucía, Spain 17th - 20th July 2018

We are incredibly excited to propose a trip to Seville, in the southern region of Andalucía, Spain for July 2018. Seville is a vibrant, picturesque and historical city, where we will be able to experience traditional flamenco dance, a visit to the thrilling theme park Isla Mágica and whole day trips to the magnificent, ancient cities of Córdoba and Granada.

We are hoping to take along as many students of Spanish as possible, as this will be a particularly advantageous opportunity to enhance both cultural and historical insight and linguistic expertise.

Thai Students Visit

On Monday 27th March until Friday 31st March, we had the huge privilege of hosting 20 students from Thailand via The English Experience School of English, in Norwich.

Each student was ‘buddied’ with a year 9 student from Sprowston. Our students looked after their buddies during the daytime at school and the Thai students departed each evening to stay with their different host families in Norwich. The Thai students were here to experience life in a typical English secondary school and our students were able to find out more about a different way of life in Thailand.
