Christmas Extravaganza

Year 8 have worked spectacularly well this term and there’s been an excellent atmosphere within all 8 forms as they’ve worked collaboratively in the extended interform competition. In total there have been 10 challenges and 2 are still ongoing.

The competition has been based upon various challenges which include some that have an academic focus, linked to the pupils’ ATLs progress and good news slips. Other challenges have tested their mental abilities with a tricky quiz and a riddle based puzzle. The final challenges were linked to a community and charitable focus. Students had to accumulate points by helping relatives with chores at home and participating in charity events at school.

There’s been a mini prize for each individual challenge and each challenge has brought with it up to 8 points towards the main prize.

With two challenges remaining before the results at the Christmas assembly there’s still a lot to play for and it’s not clear which form will emerge victorious.

The table as it stands can be seen below
