A huge well-done must be said to four Year 8 students that were selected to represent SCHS at an inter-school maths quiz last Friday.

Aiden, Kira, Stanley and Emma all did brilliantly considering they were the first team from our school to go to this event.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and a fantastic example of team work, quick thinking and perseverance.

Congratulations to everyone who achieved a silver achievement award this week in our special assembly.

They have gained 30 or more achievement points since the start of the academic year. Well done!

Good first win for Year 8 Rounders team beating Hellesdon 16.5-14.5

Lots of great debuts and potential black eye for Maya.

Congratulation to all the students who were in the Top 25 average ATL across all the different subjects in tracking 4!

They were:

The new project has them experimenting with the way to impress, using natural items such as leaves or stones, or apply more clay to create texture.

The work is inspired by their earlier Landscape studies earlier in the year. These tiles are just the testers.

More development of ideas and research will lead to more ambitious final outcomes.

Perhaps we have next year's Great Pottery Throw down competitor.
