Everyone experiences stress

Everyone experiences challenges

Some circumstances are harder than others

Some personalities are more difficult than others!

We all have so much we have to deal with!

I took Year 9 and Year 10 German students on a Langauge Day to Cambridge University on Friday 27.03.18.

We shared a bus with students from Hellesdon High School and this gave students an opportunity to forge friendships on the journey.

All our students were exceptional in their behaviour and conduct all day and it was a pleasure to share the day with them.

Year 12 geographers demonstrate their knowledge of complex plate tectonic processes with model making!

I met with some Year 7 students last week who I had the pleasure to award certificates for the amount of achievement points they have gained this year.

Over 30 points were awarded the Silver certificate and over 50 points the Gold certificate. A tremendous effort - well done!

Mr Setchell

What a wonderful time we had, hosting students from Thailand just before Easter!

Thank you to all our super students from Sprowston who gave of their time to look after them and to the teachers who accommodated them in their lessons.

Congratulations to Ruby, Active Norfolk's 'Sport Individual' winner, presented at the Norwich Awards Evening.

Wonderful and well deserved indeed!!

Mr John

This year the GoGo hare project has launched a sticker book alongside the trail and has finally been made and will be available on 24 June with the launch of the main trail.

Congratulations to 9MN for winning the tutor group with the most achievement points during tracking 3 and to 9MP for winning the best average ATL award beating HJ by 0.01!

Well done everyone keep up the hard work during tracking 4 and see if your tutor group will be the one who receives a visit from the Ice Cream Van!

Mr Cordeaux

Last term the team of Year 9s completed painting our Hare to represent Sprowston Community Academy on the GoGo Hares trail. They chose a design to reflect the ideas of the hare in folklore. They researched how the hare has been seen as a trickster and a supernatural being.

On Thursday I met with the students who have achieved the top Attitudes to Learning scores in Year 7 at the end of the Spring term.

This is a really special achievement and is testimony to their hard work and enthusiasm for their school work.

Well done to you all.

Mr Setchell
