Yesterday I met with another Year 7 super-star, Finley Cocking from 7LE. Finley has now gained 22 achievement points this half-term and received a thoroughly deserved Award certificate and Amazon voucher. Well done Finley!
Despite a late burst from several of the Year 7 Forms, 7LE have pipped the others to the post and accrued a massive 205 achievement points this half-term. This means they have won this half-term's challenge and can look forward to a pizza lunch after the break - well done 7LE!!
A superb start to the 2017-18 academic year for these students who have been nominated as Star of the Week since September.
These nominations have come a range of school staff who wanted to recognise the commitment, excellent attitude or progress made in and out of lessons by these students. Well done to all.
Also a special well done to J Dickson who was the star of thew week, randomly selected for this half terms voucher. Spend it wisely!
I met with Georgia W, Ellie C and Harrison M this morning to give them Awards certificates and Amazon vouchers as a thank you for their fantastic speeches on the Year 6 Open Evening.
They performed so well and gave such a great account of their start at Sprowston Community High School. What a talented trio they are!
Over the coming months, Year 11 students will be introduced to and given time to explore the Help You Choose Website.

Please will all parents to take a look at the site too and start discussions with your son or daughter about what their future directions might be.
Visiting Spanish students offer one-to-one help to Year 10 students of Spanish with their GCSE role plays.
A group of 25 Spanish students spent three weeks at Sprowston during September and October. They were looked after by our students to get a taste of what life is like in a British secondary school. They attended as many lessons as possible and got to grips with expectations such as school uniform and queuing!
