This week has been a busy week for Year 12.

On Tuesday we welcomed some local employers in for a Sixth Form careers event based around employability skills for young people.

Thanks to the NHS, Apprenticeships Norfolk, KLM, Aviation Academy, Larking Gowing and icanbea... for their insight and support.

13th June - Careers day for Y12. Employers from the local area will be visiting to speak to Y12 about their career paths and jobs.

14th June - Higher education trip up to the UCAS convention at the UEA.

15th June - Higher education day in school for Y12 to start UCAS with a visit from the UEA.

Norwich Museums Service are offering a number of courses that might be of interest to some of our Sixth Form students.

  • A Level Event - Biodiversity Conference talking about conservation, extinction, environmental recording and campaining.
  • A-Level Event - Criminals on Trial at Norwich Castle including, a dungeon tour, object examination.
  • A-Level Art Masterclass - Drawing activities, talking about perspective, lighting and form.
  • A-Level Fashion & Embroidery Masterclass - Ideal for students studying Art or Textiles.

Sixth Form students have had a huge variety of information delivered to them this year through our Tuesday assembly slot.

Here are some of the organisations involved. We are very grateful to them all.

A Levels mock exams take place between 26th June and 2nd July 2018.  I have provided all Year 12 students with a copy of the mock exam timetable and enclose a copy with this letter.  I will also provide advice to all year 12 students regarding revision and how devise a revision timetable.

It would be very helpful if you were able to discuss this at home.

I would like to wish all Year 12 students the very best of luck in the mock exams and hope they achieve grades that reflect their attitude to learning and their preparation.
