Please find attached the Mock Exam timetable that has been shared and printed for students today. Using this, students should pick out their specific exams from the list and plan their revision for the next 3 or 4 weeks, accordingly. To support the preparation for this, I also attach a blank revision timetable plan which may be of use, although there are many mobile phone apps and other approaches which are equally effective in planning revision.

The mocks offer an opportunity for students to get into good revision and exam habits, using an approach of ‘a little and often’ to revision and planning it effectively.

In terms of revision, Maths are promoting the use of the free PiXL Maths App, Doddle, as well as the revision guides and workbooks available to purchase at the revision evening or from the Maths department/Mrs Stearman. English also have revision guides and workbooks to purchase on the evening or following the event, alongside the free PiXL Literature App.  For other subjects please speak to the individual subject teachers and Heads of Department for revision information and resources. As I previously wrote last half term, there continues to be after school and lunchtime sessions to support Year 11 students in the completion of controlled assessments. Some pupils will have been specifically advised to attend certain sessions based on their tracking data and progress.  A timetable of these is again attached.  It is crucial that all students keep on top of their controlled assessments, especially within the Technology and Creative Arts subjects. Can we again thank you for your support in assisting and preparing the Year 11 students for what will be a busy and at times challenging half term.
