Last term the team of Year 9s completed painting our Hare to represent Sprowston Community Academy on the GoGo Hares trail. They chose a design to reflect the ideas of the hare in folklore. They researched how the hare has been seen as a trickster and a supernatural being.

On Thursday I met with the students who have achieved the top Attitudes to Learning scores in Year 7 at the end of the Spring term.

This is a really special achievement and is testimony to their hard work and enthusiasm for their school work.

PhotoEast Young Fellowship Programme Competition

phopoA photography student is looking for participants to model for a photography competition.

There are two lunchtimes each for staff and for students.

Student photoshoot days 19th and 20th April

Teacher photoshoot days 23rd and 24th April.

Well done to all this half terms Star of the Week winners, nominated for exceptional effort, attitude or progress by class teachers.

This half terms overall winner was Anya Linning in Year 9 nominated by Mr Sayce, winning a Intu shopping voucher.

The Enterprise Extravaganza went extremely well on Monday.

We had many student groups making profits upwards of £40 per stall. As a result we have decided to give 10% of all profits made to our chosen Charity Barnardo's.
